Electrochemical biosensors have a huge potential for innovation and are considered truly ‘next generation’ technology with strongly protected IP. Mode Dx aims to develop low-cost digital electrochemical diagnostic products for the consumer market.

The company has in-licensed and developed a suite of technologies comprising assay development techniques, biosensing capabilities, microfabrication, electronics and wireless communications. We are in the process of securing IP for several of these applications.

The company’s first product, bSURE, is an inexpensive, easy to use personal home screening test for bowel health. The product incorporates innovative proprietary blood sensor technology and the latest user focused design to deliver a rapid and sensitive screening test for occult (hidden) blood in the stool.
