MODE’s platform is novel, patent protected, disruptive and provides tremendous potential to enter and drive several major consumer diagnostic markets. MODE recognises that capturing the full financial potential of the platform will only be achieved through entering into strong partnerships with ambitious existing marketing & sales leaders with specialist capabilities.
MODE’s strength will be in adapting, exploiting and customising its platform for a pipeline of new diagnostics assays. To further enhance the pipeline MODE has entered into a three year co-development agreement with a significant diagnostics company. This partner will fund the primary R&D using MODE's core expertise and MODE will gain rights to develop and sell products into the consumer diagnostics market while the partner will focus on professional markets.
MODE will operate with a small core team with low-overheads directing an outsourcing and partnering model. Their focus will be on building and retaining value in the core platform. Partnering will minimise time to market and maximise market impact. This will provide early financial returns and allow flexibility for the next stage of growth.
