Prof. Jon Cooper FRSE, FREng.
The focus of Jon’s work is in demonstrating the analytical advantages of studying biology at the micro- and nanoscale. Jon is a principal applicant on the Interdisciplinary Research Collaboration (IRC) in Bionanotechnology (with the University of Oxford and NIMR, Mill Hill) and the IRC in Proteomics Technologies (with the Universities of Edinburgh and Dundee). Jon’s work is recognized by invited lectures at leading conferences. He has published ca. 165 papers in the field.

Prof. David Weinberg MD.
David is the Chair of the Dept. Medicine and the Director of Gastroenterology, at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Pennsylvania, USA. David’s research focuses on the prevention and control of gastrointestinal malignancies with a particular interest in biomarkers potentially relevant to colorectal cancer and in novel methods to promote cancer screening utilization.

George Buchan MA, RAPS.
George has spent over 15 years in regulatory and quality affairs. His experience includes working with established medical device companies, Research Institutions, start-up companies to develop the protocols necessary to validate the device(s) design and specifications against standards, regulations and manufacturer’s medical claims. In managing product compliance and quality George has successfully submitted product registrations for EC, US, Canada, China, Taiwan, Australia and Mexico, including the CE marking of 3000 products and 30 successful 510K applications.
